Th{eros} was founded in 2020 by Constantinos Manouras with a vision to showcase the potential of the Cretan vineyard and its indigenous grape varieties. Our mission is focused on reviving and highlighting rare and forgotten varieties of Crete, which have shaped the island’s winemaking heritage for centuries. Each variety we choose to vinify is closely connected to its terroir, allowing us to create wines that reflect the uniqueness of each vineyard. All of our wines come from single-variety vineyards, ensuring the authenticity of the expression of each specific location.

Our philosophy goes beyond the typical characteristics of the grape variety, focusing on what the vineyard has to offer. We emphasize the relationship between the land and the variety, understanding that each place offers something unique to the wine. We believe that distinct microclimates, soil composition, and careful cultivation are the key factors that determine the taste and quality of the wine.

Our winemaking practices are based on low intervention protocols, combined with advanced techniques that allow the wine to develop with depth and longevity. This approach enables us to create wines with great aging potential, which continue to evolve over time while retaining their freshness and vitality.
